MTY is currently seeking a dedicated and resourceful Digital Analytics specialist that will work closely with the Business & Marketing Leadership team to provide executive reporting and dashboards, identify customer behavior trends, and use data to forecast strategic digital initiatives. They will hold responsibilities that are key to the health and growth of digital channels.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Manages digital reporting for the Leadership team.
- Extract, clean, consolidate, rework, and analyze data from various digital sources and provide actionable insights. Data sources include, but are not limited to:
o Internal Data Sources
o External Data Sources
o CRM
o Customer Data platforms
o Google Analytics
o Facebook Ads Manager
- Guest sentiment & Feedback Platforms
- Conducts analysis into past performance results to identify trends and key response variables; leverage these findings to optimize digital sales/growth activity.
- complex and/or detailed analytical results into understandable text, formats and graphs.
- Provides support to the leadership team as well as to other members of the marketing and strategy team.
- Provides analysis as requested to support key business processes:
- Responsible for special projects as assigned including assisting with reporting on other major contributing initiatives.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree. (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Finance, or Marketing preferred. MBA a plus.)
Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to unpack complex data and make business recommendations
- Exceptional problem solving, analytical abilities.
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel and SQL
o VBA and macros
o Write SQL Queries
- Experience with programming language and data visualization systems (Ex.: Python, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Experience with data cloud storage systems (ex. BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience evaluating digital marketing and marketing retention programs
- Ability to calculate ROI of digital media
- Exceptional critical thinker who is not afraid to challenge current business practices
